Each AIM HI LED head uses a 3-module LED array delivering 100,000 lux (9290 fc) at one meter with a 4300 Kelvin color temperature and a CRI greater than 95 for accurate tissue and wound assessment. Three-step push-button dimming (100% / 75% / 50%) is built into the light head handle for quick adjustment mid-procedure, and Burton's distinctive Y-shaped head design lets the light be positioned around the practitioner's own head and shoulders, reducing the cast shadows that a bulkier round head would throw across the field. Rotating the removable, sterilizable center handle adjusts the reflectors to widen or narrow the light pattern — from a focused 10 in (25 cm) beam out to a broader field — over a 47 in (119 cm) depth of field.
