Burton ALEDDC

The Burton ALEDDC is the double ceiling-mount configuration of Burton's AIM® LED examination light — a fixture built to bring OR-grade lighting technology to exam rooms, procedure bays, and outpatient suites without OR-light pricing. Burton designed the AIM LED to combine the smart, Y-shaped head of its longstanding AIM light line with an efficient LED engine, and the double-ceiling mount lets two lightheads share a single ceiling structural point — a common configuration for exam rooms that need balanced, shadow-minimized lighting from two angles.

Each lighthead delivers 45,000 lux (4,181 fc) at one meter with a 4300 Kelvin color temperature and a 92 CRI rating, giving clinicians accurate color rendering for skin tone assessment, wound checks, and minor procedures. Three LED modules per head are rated for 50,000 hours of service — roughly ten times the lifespan of a halogen exam light — while drawing only 84 watts, a fraction of what a comparable halogen fixture consumes. A removable, sterilizable/autoclavable center handle lets staff adjust the beam's focus and pattern by hand between patients.

The double-ceiling arm system offers a 63" maximum swivel radius and 41" of vertical travel, and is rated for ceiling heights between 8 and 12 feet — giving installers real flexibility in exam rooms with non-standard ceiling heights. The Y-shaped lighthead design is engineered to keep the practitioner's own head and shoulders from casting a shadow into the working field, a persistent complaint with older halogen exam lights.
