The Burton Outpatient® II / CoolSpot® II Combination Model (120V, ceiling mount, OC516CC) puts two purpose-built exam lights on a single ceiling mount, so one fixture covers both broad, shadow-free general examination and tight, high-intensity procedure work — no swapping fixtures, no second ceiling mount to install.

The Outpatient® II head is the general exam light: a focusable, flood-type beam from three halogen bulbs arranged in Burton's Y-shaped housing to minimize obstruction, putting out 86,000 lux at 24" with a warm 3300K color temperature and a 94 CRI. It's the light staff reach for during routine exams, wound checks, and general patient assessment, controlled through a central, removable, autoclavable SteriHandle. The CoolSpot® II head is the procedure light: up to 60,000 lux at 1 meter, 4300K, 94 CRI, with a bi-level dimmer that lets staff dial in both intensity and spot size for suturing, minor procedures, and other close, high-detail work.

Both heads mount on their own arms with over two feet of reach, and each is maneuvered by its own replaceable SteriHandle for easy repositioning and infection control between patients. Running on standard 120V power, the Outpatient II head draws 50 watts (2,000-hour halogen bulb life) and the CoolSpot II head draws 150 watts (600-hour bulb life) — both using readily available, inexpensive halogen replacement bulbs rather than a proprietary LED module.
