The Harloff MH4216K is the key-locking counterpart to Harloff's compact two-drawer MH treatment cart, built around a 1.0 cubic foot Follett REF1 medical-grade refrigerator for facilities that want dedicated malignant hyperthermia (MH) response storage in a smaller footprint than Harloff's 2.4 cubic foot carts. It keeps the core MH protocol — cold saline, insulin, dantrolene, syringes, catheters, NG tubes, and filters — staged together and ready near the OR, PACU, or procedure suite, in line with AANA and MHAUS guidance for MH-prepared facilities.

The built-in Follett REF1 refrigerator features a stainless steel interior and exterior, heavy-duty compressor, forced-air cooling, and non-CFC R134a refrigerant, delivering the reliable, monitored cold storage a malignant hyperthermia protocol requires. Two 6″ drawers (23″W x 17″D interior) sit above the refrigerator for room-temperature supplies, and — unlike the breakaway-lock MH4216B — both the drawers and refrigerator on this model are secured with a standard key lock, giving facilities tighter, key-controlled access to contents.

Construction is 20-gauge powder-coated steel with a removable antimicrobial plastic top, a hospital-grade power strip and cord are included, and the cart ships fully assembled with wheels installed so it can be stocked and staged right away. As a 4000-series Harloff cart, the MH4216K ships without the bundled wire basket, waste container, and chart-holder accessory package found on Harloff's fully-accessorized 5000-series carts; those accessories, plus locking side storage cabinets, are available separately.
