The Harloff MH4300B-AC is a purpose-built Malignant Hyperthermia (MH) cart designed to keep every time-critical MH response item — refrigerated medications, dantrolene, IV supplies, and emergency documentation — in one dedicated, always-ready location. Malignant hyperthermia is a rare but life-threatening reaction to certain anesthetics, and rapid access to cooled saline, insulin, and stabilizing medications is essential once it's triggered. Following AANA and MHAUS guidelines, hospitals and surgery centers stage a dedicated MH cart within seconds of the OR, PACU, or procedure suite so the entire care team knows exactly where to find critical supplies under pressure.

At the core of the MH4300B-AC is a built-in Accucold FF28LWHMED2 medical-grade refrigerator with 2.4 cubic feet of usable capacity — enough to keep cold saline for IV infusion or gastric/peritoneal/rectal irrigation, insulin, and cold packs at a controlled, monitored temperature. The refrigerator's top-mounted blue control panel lets staff check and adjust the temperature without opening the door, so cold-chain integrity isn't disturbed just to confirm a reading, and the unit runs on non-CFC R134a refrigerant. Above the refrigerator, three 3″ drawers (23″W x 17″D interior) provide room-temperature storage for syringes, catheters, NG tubes, charcoal filters, and other MH-protocol supplies.

Access is controlled with a breakaway lock on the drawers and refrigerator — a visual, tamper-evident seal that shows staff at a glance whether the cart has been accessed, while still allowing the refrigerator to be keylocked for tighter control if a facility prefers. The cart body is 20-gauge powder-coated steel with a removable antimicrobial plastic top, and it ships fully assembled with wheels installed so it's ready to stage the moment it arrives.

The MH4300B-AC is Harloff's value-configured 4300-series cart: it delivers the identical cart body, drawer configuration, and Accucold refrigerator as Harloff's fully-accessorized 5300-series MH carts, but ships without the bundled wire basket, waste container, and chart-holder accessory package — letting facilities that already have those items, or don't need them, avoid paying for extras. Optional accessories (large wire basket, waste container with mounting bracket, two chart/document holders, and locking side storage cabinets) are available separately if you want to build out the cart later.
