Emergency Medications

• Epinephrine auto-injector or vials (Rx), anaphylaxis
• Diphenhydramine / antihistamine, allergic reactions
• Aspirin (chewable), suspected cardiac event
• Oral glucose gel; glucagon (Rx), hypoglycemia
• Albuterol inhaler (Rx), bronchospasm

Aesthetic Complications (Filler and Injectables)

• Hyaluronidase (Rx), filler vascular occlusion
• Nitroglycerin paste (Rx), only if your medical director's protocol includes it
• Warm compresses or instant warm packs
• Written vascular occlusion protocol and capillary refill check

Vasovagal and Fainting

• Ammonia inhalants
• Emesis bags
• Cold packs and a recovery position plan

Airway and Breathing

• Oropharyngeal airways (assorted sizes)
• Bag-valve mask (adult)
• Portable oxygen with regulator (Rx in most states)
• Oxygen masks and nasal cannulas

IV and Circulation

• IV catheters (assorted gauges)
• IV fluids, normal saline (Rx)
• Administration sets
• Manual blood pressure cuff (backup)

Monitoring

• Pulse oximeter
• Glucometer with test strips and lancets
• Thermometer
• Stethoscope

Equipment

• AED, charged and accessible
• Crash cart or emergency kit, organized and labeled
• Sharps container

Readiness Habits (staff practices, not supplies)

• Emergency protocols posted and staff-drilled
• Crash cart checked monthly (keep a log)
• Staff BLS/CPR certifications current
• Emergency contacts and nearest ER posted in the treatment area
