Security is built in at two levels. A BEST® brand lock (supplied with four keys) secures the entire cabinet, while a dedicated Illinois lock (also with four keys) protects the single-width narcotics drawer independently — keeping controlled substances separated from general medication stock. Every drawer rides on ball-bearing, full-extension, self-closing slides, so staff can access the full depth of each tray without the drawer sagging or the cart tipping forward.

Inside, the left column holds one 4" multipurpose storage drawer plus nine 3.25" drawers fitted with internal dividers for unit-dose boxes, while the right column pairs a 4" multipurpose drawer with the locking 9.75" narcotics drawer and two additional 9.75" multipurpose drawers.
