The Harloff MH4200B-AC Malignant Hyperthermia Cart is a purpose-built emergency response cart that keeps every MH treatment supply, from Dantrolene reconstitution water to syringes, catheters, and NG tubes, organized in one mobile unit, positioned exactly where anesthesia and OR teams need it most. Malignant hyperthermia is a life-threatening reaction that can develop within minutes during general anesthesia, and both AANA and MHAUS guidelines call for a dedicated, fully-stocked cart staged in or near every OR and PACU; this cart is designed to meet that standard.
What sets the “-AC” configuration apart from Harloff's standard MH cart is its built-in Accucold FF28LWHMED2 refrigerator, a 2.4 cubic foot laboratory-grade unit that holds insulin, cold packs, and chilled saline for IV infusion or gastric/peritoneal/rectal irrigation at a stable, monitored temperature. The refrigerator door can be keylocked independently of the cart's own drawer locks, and its digital control panel gives staff an at-a-glance temperature readout during a code.
Above the refrigerator, two 3-inch drawers with breakaway locks hold the rest of the MH protocol supplies, syringes, IV sets, catheters, NG tubes, and filters, secured for daily storage but built to pop open instantly under pressure in a true emergency, no key search required. The whole cart is built on a 20-gauge powder-coated steel frame with a removable plastic top, ships with casters already installed, and is available in more than twenty standard Harloff finish colors to match existing department carts.
This listing is for the cart alone, with no external accessories included, Harloff also offers a matching wire basket, side storage cabinets, chart/document holders, and a waste container with mounting bracket for departments that want to build the cart out further.
