The Harloff SL36BIN5-EKC is a Standard Line med-bin cart built for facilities that dispense from bin cassettes rather than punch cards or unit-dose boxes. The dual-column cart holds 36 medication bins, each 5" wide and sized for 14-day cassettes, giving pharmacy and nursing staff a full two-week medication pass ready to load and roll to the floor. Like the rest of Harloff's Standard Line, it's built with a painted steel cabinet and aluminum drawers finished in a hard-baked powder coat for daily institutional use.

Security runs on Harloff's Electronic Keypad Cover (EKC) system: staff enter a PIN for routine access, drawers automatically re-lock after a pre-set interval, and a BEST® brand key-lock override is built in for backup or supervisor access. The narcotics drawer is independently secured with an Illinois lock that uses a "slam action" mechanism — staff can push the drawer closed without needing the key, while still requiring the key to open it, speeding up the medication pass without weakening security.

Every drawer rides on ball-bearing, full-extension, self-closing slides, so bins stay accessible and controlled even when fully loaded. A plastic replaceable top with integrated push handles and a full wrap-around vinyl bumper protect the cart — and the staff pushing it — from the daily bumps of hallway and elevator travel.
