Three Gallon Sharps

This listing offers Harloff's 3-gallon Bemis® sharps disposal container — a purpose-built accessory that mounts directly to Harloff M-Series and A-Series medical carts (including vaccine, anesthesia, and emergency cart lines) so sharps disposal is always within reach at the point of care. Rather than routing used needles and syringes back to a central disposal station, the container clips or bolts securely to the side or back rail of your cart, keeping your workflow compliant and efficient without consuming valuable drawer space.

Two mounting styles are available. The Direct Mount (SHARPSDM) uses a stable aluminum bracket that affixes to either side of the cart and measures 13.5"H x 13.5"W x 7"D. The Rail Clip Mount (SHARPSRC) instead uses an aluminum bracket paired with two steel rail clips that attach to a cart's side or back rail system, measuring 14.5"H x 13.5"W x 7.5"D. Both use the same 3-gallon Bemis® container body in safety light-red plastic, with a removable, self-closing clear plastic lid that keeps the disposal opening secured between uses while still allowing staff to visually confirm fill level.

Bemis® is a recognized name in sharps management, and Harloff pairs that container quality with mounting hardware engineered specifically for its own cart platforms — so the container sits flush and secure rather than relying on generic universal brackets. Installation is quick and tool-light, letting you add compliant sharps disposal to an existing cart in minutes. An MRI-safe version of this container is also available for facilities running MR-Conditional carts.
