Harloff SureDry Steel Scope Drying Cabinet, 36" Wide, 16-Scope (SC8036DREDP-16)

The Harloff SureDry Painted Low-Carbon Steel 16-Scope Drying Cabinet (SC8036DREDP-16) gives endoscopy reprocessing rooms, GI labs, and central sterile departments a fully enclosed, HEPA-filtered, positive-pressure cabinet for storing freshly reprocessed flexible endoscopes between procedures. The cabinet holds up to 16 scopes on a secure, adjustable hanging system compatible with major endoscope brands including Fuji, Olympus, Pentax, and Karl Storz, and can be reconfigured down to 14, 12, or 8 scopes if a department's volume changes.

Rather than relying on a single fan, the SureDry system uses Harloff's three-intake, two-exhaust fan design: three fans at the cabinet top draw air through dedicated HEPA filters (99.7% efficient at 0.03 microns) and drive it downward in a circulating vortex over every hanging scope, while two lower exhaust fans pull the air back out, cycling the entire interior air volume roughly four times per minute. An adjustable drying timer (default 90 minutes, programmable from 10 minutes up to 180 hours) starts automatically once both doors are closed and resets whenever a door is opened, and the whole system is engineered to meet or exceed current Joint Commission, AORN, SGNA, and AAMI reprocessing guidance, including the ANSI/AAMI ST91:2021 standard.

The cabinet body is heat-sealed powder-coat low-carbon steel, available in more than twenty color finishes if a department wants to color-code by unit or match existing decor, with tempered-glass double doors so staff can visually confirm scope status without opening the cabinet mid-cycle, plus an easy-clean removable drip tray underneath. It ships with an electronic pushbutton lock, and the HEPA filter can be swapped without removing a single scope from the cabinet. The cabinet is also fully field-upgradeable with Harloff's Dri-Scope Aid®, a plug-and-play internal channel/lumen drying accessory, for facilities that later want to add forced-air channel drying on top of the standard exterior drying cycle.
