The Wolf X-Ray Center Mount J-Arm Suspension System (Model 57130, 50 x 40) is a ceiling-mounted radiation protection shield on an articulating J-shaped arm. The center-mount design anchors the suspension from a single ceiling point, so staff can swing the lead-acrylic shield between themselves and the radiation source during a procedure, then swing it out of the way when it isn't needed.
Because the shield hangs from the ceiling rather than a floor-standing barrier, it doesn't add clutter to the room and stays out of the path of equipment and foot traffic when parked. This 50 x 40 configuration suits X-ray and fluoroscopy rooms that need a fixed, always-available shield without a mobile stand taking up floor space.
