Overhead Barrier

The Wolf X-Ray Overhead Barrier (SKU 56615) is an adjustable over-table radiation shield built to protect physicians and technologists during fluoroscopy, C-arm, and other tableside imaging procedures. Its 24" square clear acrylic panel provides 0.5 mm lead-equivalent protection, and a semi-circular cutout in the panel contours to the patient's torso so staff standing at the table stay shielded from scatter radiation without losing hands-on access to the procedure.

The barrier mounts on a pivoting, height-adjustable arm that moves from 30" at its lowest center position up to 63" at full height, with a 6" offset pivot giving up to 36" of reach over the table. A 360-degree pivot ball mount lets the panel rotate on both the vertical and horizontal planes, so staff can angle it into position for whichever access point a procedure calls for, then swing it out of the way between cases. The whole assembly rolls on a mobile base for easy repositioning between rooms.
