Podiatry Positioning Platform

Wolf X-Ray's Podiatry Positioning Platform family gives podiatry practices, orthopedic clinics, and imaging centers a dedicated way to capture weight-bearing AP and lateral radiographs of the foot, ankle, and knee — views that can't be obtained with the patient lying on a table. This listing offers five configurations so you can match the platform to your detector and clinical workflow: 1 Step, 2 Step, 2 Step configured for the Canon CXDI-50G digital DR panel, 3 Step Platform with Side Rail, and the Complete View Platform.

Every configuration is built around a radiolucent, high-density ABS or HDPE platform paired with a stainless steel frame, so the platform itself stays out of the image field while still standing up to daily weight-bearing use. Platforms accept digital DR panels, CR cassettes, and analog cassettes, giving departments flexibility as they transition between imaging technologies without replacing positioning equipment. An anti-slip textured platform surface and non-skid rubber feet keep patients steady during positioning, and rear-mounted offset casters make it easy to roll the platform between exam rooms.

The 1 Step and 3 Step (with side rail) configurations come from Wolf's Combination Step & Platform Positioning Device line and add a stainless steel handrail for extra patient support when stepping up onto the platform — the 3 Step version is the taller option for facilities that need additional elevation. The 2 Step Lateral View Platform (available in a standard configuration or pre-configured for the Canon CXDI-50G panel) offers multiple detector slots and stainless steel rails for stability. The Complete View Platform is built to accommodate both 14"x17" and 17"x17" digital DR panels and ships with Wolf's Lock-N-Secure® II Panel Protector, giving it a true AP-and-lateral weight-distribution platform for knee, lower leg, ankle, and foot imaging.
