Underneath the cabinetry is the same medication-cart engineering Harloff has manufactured in the USA for decades, sized to hold up to 300 individual unit-dose boxes across seven configurable drawers.

Storage is organized across one multipurpose 3-inch drawer, six 3-inch drawers with adjustable dividers for unit-dose boxes and liquid medications, and a dedicated 9.75-inch punch-card drawer that houses a separate locking narcotics box. The entire cabinet locks with a key, and the narcotics box locks independently, giving nursing staff a documented, dual-layer chain of custody for controlled substances without needing an electronic system. Ball-bearing, full-extension drawer slides keep every drawer smooth under a full load of medication boxes, and a pull-out shelf gives staff a stable surface for pouring or counting doses mid-round.

The cabinet top is MDF finished with a heat-pressed thermal foil laminate in a granite look, wiping clean with ordinary soap and water, important in med rooms where spills happen. Five-inch ball-bearing rubber casters roll quietly between the pharmacy and patient floors, and the cart's compact 30-inch by 23.5-inch footprint fits through standard doorways and elevators without maneuvering issues.
