Nuclear Medicine Mobile Barrier (NMB-1™)
The Wolf X-Ray Nuclear Medicine Mobile Barrier (NMB-1™) is a mobile radiation shield designed for nuclear medicine departments, letting technologists remain in the room with a patient during radiopharmaceutical procedures while staying protected from patient-emitted radiation.
A large OptiClear™ lead acrylic window (30% lead by weight) provides 1.0 mm lead-equivalent protection and a clear sightline to the patient, while the opaque panel section adds 1.6 mm lead equivalency for the surrounding shielded area. Together the window and panel create a 48" wide by 56" high shielded zone on a barrier that stands 61.1" high and 49.5" wide.
Four hospital-grade locking casters make the barrier easy to reposition and lock in place between rooms or procedures, and the shatter-resistant acrylic construction is built for daily clinical use. Wolf X-Ray backs the NMB-1 with a one-year parts-and-labor warranty.
